Our First Rigg & Rest Guests
Well appointed small apartment with a few steps taking you into the centre of Bowness. Warm and comfortable, everything a family needs for a short break. We appreciated a welcome pack including prosecco, pods for coffee machine, maps of the area etc. Beds were clean and comfortable Parking was generally fine although one time we had to park at the top of the hill and walk down. Extremely handy to the centre of Bowness meaning we could leave the car, hop on the ferry or go for a bite to eat.
Happy Dog
Ideal location, clean, little homely Touches makes it feel Like a home from home . Walking distance to everything you could need from shops/bars/restaurants/boat trips to explore the lake, Would 100% recommend to stay here again. We took out dog and Caroline was very accommodating with a bed, food bowls and little treats. Thanks again!
Family Break
We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 4 including our baby boy. The apartment was beautiful presented, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable, even including a travel cot and high chair for our little one. We all loved the apartment, its recent renovation looks amazing and it’s in a prime location, only 5-10mins walk from Windermere jetty.
A Perfect Stay
Perfect! What an incredible apartment! After our booking at a different location fell through, this family took us in, on a cold wet December evening. Despite it being last minute, everything was ready for us. We couldn't of asked for anything more. They were so helpful & so kind. We are so grateful. The apartment was immaculate & cosy. There was even a christmas tree. We had such a gorgeous weekend. The kids & dog loved it & with it being in the heart of Bowness everything was on our doorstep which was so handy for little legs. We had the best weekend & we will definitely look into booking again for the future.
Last minute stay

Christmas Stay
I decided to visit Bowness less than a week before I travelled there for Christmas. This was the perfect spot for me and my little Westie, with my friend staying on the last evening too. I knew the apartment was central but I honestly didn't expect it to be as convenient as it was. Despite being at the hub of everything, the glorious view of the hills from the settee out of the patio doors was like being in the middle of the country. The apartment was absolutely spotless, homely (with Christmas tree too) and everything you could possibly need in a home away from home was there. For those who may be concerned about noise, I can honestly say I didn't hear even one neighbour despite it being an apartment block. Caroline was very responsive and even sourced dog friendly pubs for Christmas day for me. The doggy welcome bags were such a treat, as was the bottle of prosecco treat for me! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
Post Festive Stay with the Dog
Awesome apartment right in the middle Of Bowness. Caroline was an amazing host. Lovely basket of goodies on arrival and nice treats for our dog. Apartment was immaculate and stunning. Brilliant and will definitely be back!
Baby Celebrations
Arrived to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday with my partner and dog. Caroline provided a lovely welcome basket for us as well as a dog bed and dog treats! Caroline kindly put up a travel cot and high chair, which made it easy that we did not have to pack ours. This is the only Air b&b I have been too who provided netflix too, which was a lovely touch! The location is in the centre of Bowness-on-windermere, making it perfect to travel around. The balcony was lovely, just a shame we couldnt make more of this given the time of year. 100% would recommend and would stay here again when we come to Windermere. Thank you x
Birthday Celebrations
Gorgeous 3 night stay in bowness. Decorated the house for us and even left a bottle of prosecco for a birthday! Extremely accommodating and would 100% go back.
Perfect Location
Perfect location and perfect accommodation for a weekend break. Lovely little touches for the dog and for us too! Would highly recommend for location and a beautifully appointed apartment. Homely, cosy and just easy to stay in. Thank you.
